The market in June - keep the fizz on ice. Despite the positives in the FTSE, GDP and inflation figures, the KPMG/REC survey shows the hiring market was still very tight (technically contracted) for perm and contract in June. I notice certain spaces are bucking this trend on a personal micro level. Keeping my fingers crossed the new governments mantra's of pro-growth and "country before party" translate into a golden decade, and not just on the back pocket levels (A summer would make it a good double act). #jobmarket #hiringactivity #recruitmenttrends
