In an service-based industry where people are your business - putting them first is a no-brainer!

I’ve been thinking about how dating has been evolving lately. With autumn weather settling in here in London, it’s the perfect time for romantic walks and cozy dates. Remember when Tinder was the go-to for online dating? Well, it seems like it’s not as dominant anymore. But don’t get me wrong—people are still meeting online, just using different apps like Bumble and Hinge, especially younger folks. According to the Pew Research Center, 46% of online daters have used Tinder at some point, but its downloads have dropped by more than a third since their peak in 2014. I wonder if some of that decline has to do with the “Tinder Swindler” documentary—it might’ve made people more cautious. That said, the dating app space is still strong and growing, with apps like Bumble and Hinge continuing to rise in popularity. What’s cool is that Gen Z seems to prefer meeting people in real life but still uses dating apps in a more laid-back way. For example, 53% of adults under 30, including Gen Z, are on dating apps, but they often start off as friends before getting into relationships. It feels like people are looking for more authentic, low-pressure connections these days. I met my 'ride or die' offline a long time ago, and it’s been ages since I last used any dating apps for their actual purpose 🙈 What about you? Do you have any experience with dating apps?
