It's logo time Corbin. Duh? 💁🏻‍♂️ Busy day in the creative department today as we present back the logos for two new superstar clients we've been so lucky to commence work with more recently. We kickstarted the launch of both agencies last week & part of that first week is all about nailing the Isotoep Branding Brief ⏩ The brief asks every question under the sun that then allows our design team to produce the first round of logos ideas based on their feedback, our experience of their market & the countless conversations we've had with them prior to this stage 🧑🏻‍🎨 It's always a really exciting day because we know, within the sea of creative suggestions produced by the Isotope team, is "the one". Medium of choice 🔮 In any instance where there is saturation/volume it can help to stand out from the crowd 🚀 I've been hiring in a more creative space over the last week and have found the change of medium, namely video / showreels really impactful when it comes to garnering attention with volume of applicants or highlighting a new position within a company ✨ A lot of info out there around method of approach, CV, LinkedIn profile etc which is great and useful but I'd say the creative approach is still very under utilised from a job searcher or client perspective. It can be as straightforward as - Adding your LinkedIn public profile to the CV ✅ - Creating a short video when applying to a specific role, especially if it's going to a hiring manager. Or video on your careers page giving some insight into culture. ✅ - Interviewing the team to get some direct quotes around working within the company / team to include on the JD ✅ - Links/Content - for design - it could be a portfolio, development - example code, other areas of tech blogs, books that resonate with your approach, recommendations either from LinkedIn or independently ✅ - Picking up the phone, be it to old contacts when searching for work or ringing round the best tech/marketers/managers you know to inform them of your search for that star player. Sometimes you will get so much more out of a 30 minute conversation vs 50 touchpoints via socials ✅ - Guesting on a podcast be it as a candidate or client, vast majority of your network would click on our of curiosity if nothing else ✅ There is a balance, if a profile, approach or job advertisement is too outlandish vs professional it can have the opposite effect. Sphere have just taken receipt of a wicked freelance design role- see below! Starts on the 14th of October, for 1 month, so the role needs to be filled this week.  It is Outside IR35, remote is fine and the details are as follows:  Day rate is going to be circa £300-350 per day ish...  If you want to hear more on this, please do send me a copy of your cv & portfolio on [email protected] The Brief: We work with global clients to bring to life integrated campaign toolkits that showcase an product campaign for across multiple paid & owned media assets from TV through to film digital, social, OOH, DOOH, Sponsorships, In Store, Online, Display, Radio etc etc This is design support for the creative team to help bring to life potential campaign concepts. Skillset required  😍 Photoshop 😄 Mid Journey 😎 Art working 🤓 Image research 😁 Image retouching 😀 Type setting 😲 Asset layout As such you will work with the creatives to help visualise concepts, film storyboards, key visuals, OOH executions etc. Working with brand guidelines to showcase executions that demonstrate concept lock ups, with appropriate messaging, typography, logo, pack art etc.  What’s the job? Design support for creative campaign development and subsequent asset development. All of this is to inform and direction subsequent production so the ask is conceptual as opposed to art working production assets. Campaign concepts will go through a production process to acquire the relevant asset but we will need to define the approach and the execution to inform that production and subsequent asset development Deliverable timeline Conceptual campaign assets – 1 month These are assets that demonstrate concept and inform production.
