I have been working with the Scout Association in a number of different roles for most of my life, from Assisting in running Beaver and Scout Sections and a long spell running a Cub Pack of my own, due to work commitments I have had to step away from doing a regular weekly slot with a section, so for the last few years have worked in District projects such as the District Camp Site and being a support leader to assist different groups though difficult times. Scouting has been with me from a very young age and I was fully active from the first chance I could at 15 years old, I feel this has give me a wealth of knowledge in how to manage different people and organise events on minimal budgets (or zero budget in most cases) which has made me very resourceful, I would love to have the time to be more active again but I am sure over the years at some point I will be able to dedicate more time to this amazing organisation which does so much for Children world wide.
