Bad Office Hours: Summer possum edition  ☀ 🦝 Earlier this summer I went to Phoenix, AZ to meet up with friends. Within an hour of the triple digit heat, I had burned my feet and taken on the mental facilities of a possum startled by the vicious sun. Q: Can the Google team help transfer SEO rankings from one previous domain to the new domain? A: Are you asking us to help you move right now? We've gotten too nice. Q: Can we use product variant structured data for a website that has a product configurator for 3 million variants but no price output? A: Technically you can use it to do whatever you want. A lot of work without meaningful benefit is one way. Have you tried puzzles? Q: Hey I manage a lot of sites on Google Search Console, can I have unlimited index requests? A: … the youthful hope in your tone is like holding a newborn dodo chick in the palm of my hands.  It's a tiny miracle.  The question is like it pooped in my hands. Q: What's the impact of a huge expansion of our product portfolio on SEO Performance, for example going from 10,000 to products to 100,000? A: More work for you Q: What non-search features does GoogleOther crawling support? A: You're not thinking big enough. Google Search as a Marvel franchise.  You've been following the franchise with Googlebot, Googlebot Smartphone, Googlebot Video– all of them teamed uup together for years now, yeah?  Well, the franchise got boring.  There was a snap.  Now GoogleOther is prancing around the multiverse.
