This is a such an important provocation from Campaign UK and one that as the Ally representative for Omniwomen UK and Allies (OUKA) is something I’ve been doing plenty of thinking about.    https://lnkd.in/dm-Vnq98   Completely agree with all the reasons proposed in the article as to why men often don’t engage with these initiatives.   I’ve got one additional hypothesis – and it’s approaching this from a media planning perspective (as you’d perhaps expect).   A factor might be we don’t talk about the events in a way that encourages a behaviour change from men and so it’s too easy for men to miss them or think it's not for them. And for those that do engage, they don’t share their experiences afterwards enough – perhaps for fear of making it ‘all about them’   As a live example, tickets have gone on sale for the OUKA Summit in September and I’d love to see lots of men from across Omnicom attending this year.   The line up is incredible… the headliner is a CEO and Founder of award-winning health and wellness brand talking about founding a business and dealing with private equity backers. It’s going to be a brilliant session which will be interesting for everyone (it so happens the CEO is Katie Prince from Ancient Brave | B Corp).   So if you want to hear from a great leader and generally be inspired, speak to your agency leadership who can get you a ticket.   (Sorry non-Omnicom folks – it’s an Omnicom-only event. But I promise to talk about the best bits afterwards so will keep you posted)
