“I worked with Brian in the Large Format and Interactive Flat Panel Display business unit at ViewSonic. As the Director for LFD and IFP and the Business Line Manager, Brian is the centrepiece of the ViewSonic Europe planning, forecasting, execution, and product roadmap. Brian has the rapport with all the regions and acts as the trusted negotiator of sales, stock and pipeline. A superhero with the ability to predict the future and see the road ahead. At times when business and market dynamics are shifting at incredible speeds, Brian can keep it real and is the solid rock foundation the business unit needs to determine where we go and what our quarter-to-quarter objectives are while still conscious of the full journey ahead. Brian is always open to ideas and feedback and supported me tremendously with developing the software side of the IFP business which developed and emerged into its own business unit while ultimately being born out of the IFP product lines. Throughout all the changes and developments, Brian was the consistency. The trust in Brian, his work ethic and output were consistent at each and every stage and while we may be entering unchartered territory, there was nothing to make me lose faith in the bottom line and the core business model. You cannot have software without hardware to run it on, and having the knowledge that the product lines were iterating and evolving with amazing channel relationships across Europe made the job of product management a breeze. There was never a time when hardware diminished the software potential, products were specified at the right performance to price ratio, freight forwarders and distribution warehouses were brimming with the right levels of stock to fulfil our orders and keep customers happy. The delicate balance was kept in line, and while a team effort, Brian is ultimately at the centre of this for our business and industry. I won’t hesitate to work with Brian again in the future and hope to get more products and services integrated and working within the ViewSonic ViewBoard Ecosystem.”
