In May 2014 I set up and ran a Charity Football Match.
Taking on the role of event manager / operations and marketing; I organised the venue, two teams of current semi pro / ex pro players, worked with local businesses to put on additional activities, including half time competitions, cake sale, face painting, raffle and silent auction. Pre event I worked closely with local businesses and clubs including Watford FC, to promote the event. Pre event I worked closely with local businesses and clubs including Watford FC, to promote the event. We achieved great coverage through social media, the local press and Three Counties Radio. Over 600 supporters came, smashing our target of 250 and we raised over £9500 for the Neonatal Unit at UCLH, one of my proudest achievements to date.
