The 2024 IMechE Formula Student competition was decided at Silverstone last weekend, and a number of Zircotec-supported entries were competing. Good luck to the IMechE Formula Student teams we're supporting as their cars are put through their paces at Silverstone this weekend! Here's a photo of the Zircotec-equipped car that's been built by the engineers of the future at the University of Leeds. We have supplied our high-performance ceramic coating and ZircoFlex heat shielding products for use on a number of cars that have come out of the workshops at the universities of Coventry, Sheffield Hallam, Leeds, Leicester and Surrey. We're thrilled to be helping various teams on the IMechE Formula Student grid to 'beat the heat in competition' this summer by supplying our ceramic coating and ZircoFlex heat shielding products for use on their cars. 🔥🏎️ Supporting the engineers of the future is hugely important to us as a business and we'll be watching on with great interest as the Zircotec-equipped squads from CU Phoenix Racing, SHU Racing, Leeds Gryphon Racing, UoL Racing | University of Leicester Racing, and Team SURTES go head-to-head in competition this month. We'll also be keeping an eye on how FSUPV Team get on in their Spanish competition.
