About us

Marketing and branding consultancy for impact-driven startups that are on the cusp of expansion and looking to gain a strategic edge. The start-up world is broken. We believe that the way business is done needs to change. That a mindless pursuit of growth at all costs, and the sole focus of generating profit for a small minority of shareholders is not sustainable, and has contributed to the rapidly growing social and environmental injustices in the world today. Our Purpose is to support ethically driven entrepreneurs to build, launch and grow brands that pave the way to an inclusive and regenerative society. Having worked in the corporate venture builder as well as the traditional agency space, we have seen first hand the damage being done and we want to take the unfair advantage that profit hungry corporations have, and level the playing field for social impact start-ups, equipping them with the tools, experience, and growth hacking mindset they need to rapidly and efficiently build the brands that humanity needs now. Growth hacking is our advantage: Growth hacking is a process that is being used by silicon valley’s fastest growing tech start-ups. It is the most effective way to grow a business or build a brand, and it is something that is gaining popularity within the start-up and scaleup community. We are reforming the way growth hacking is used, putting a holistic, ethical and social impact lens on it.

    How might we cultivate growth rather than accelerate it?     How do you coordinate your marketing performance and impact realisation in the day to day? We’ve got a template for that. And it’s been published on the Miroverse. Yay!! For many impact-driven founders, the balance between growth and core values can be elusive. But it's achievable. Through our collaboration with TERN (The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network) we reconfirmed our belief that a mission-aligned GTM strategy is crucial for sustainable growth. When we first partnered with TERN they faced challenges like limited team capacity, limited content strategy, and marketing goals that weren’t clearly defined. Through a co-creative process over 2 months, we developed a tailored GTM strategy focusing on these pain points, resulting in significant community growth and deeper impact. A pivotal element in this strategy was the use of a Regenerative North Star Metric. Traditional North Star Metrics focus solely on business performance, but a regenerative approach integrates both impact and performance. This means tracking metrics that not only measure growth but also reflect your commitment to positive societal change. Put this in the hands of your marketing department and just watch the magic happen <3 TERN’s North Star Metric was the “number of quarterly community members who are thriving”. This metric guided their marketing efforts and ensured that every action contributed to their mission of empowering refugee entrepreneurs. By weaving impact creation into daily marketing activities, TERN was able to maintain focus on their long-term goals while achieving immediate growth. Regenerative businesses have a unique opportunity when it comes to setting their North Star metric because they can directly link it to their social or environmental impact. Even though different teams will have their own sub-goals and metrics to focus on, having a north star metric means the entire company will be working toward, and able to connect their goals to, the business’ shared impact goal.
