About us
The Royal Docks Team is a joint initiative between the Mayor of London and Mayor of Newham. With overall responsibility for development, estate management and placemaking across the Royal Docks, the team are working with key development partners to regenerate this part of East London. Developer and business partnerships will facilitate 4000 new homes, activate underused or vacant commercial sites and create over 35,000 new jobs. Additionally, the team will create a distinct and inclusive cultural offer developing a programme of activity that will promote the cultural and economic significance of the docks on a local, regional and international level. Once London’s gateway to the world, the east has once again begun its journey to re-emerge as a commercial and cultural hub of global significance.

Help us to make an iconic creative landmark in the Royal Docks. The Royal Docks Team, Hive Curates and Projekt invite applications from artists or creative studios to create a mural launching Spring 2025 on a new work and event space, The Pump House, next to Royal Victoria DLR. Working with local communities, the artist should draw inspiration from the theme of Transformation in the context of the surrounding areas and celebrate the untold stories and diasporic cultures of the Royal Docks. https://lnkd.in/eewUtrSr
