Well, this is exciting! I am delighted to announce that I am hosting the Your Partnerships Women in Business lunch at the Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth next week. Officially, not just standing in at the last minute! I have been a member of Your Partnerships since before the pandemic, and attending these women-only events for several years, as I believe that not only does networking have an important role to play in the modern business environment, but women-only networking is also something rather special. I wrote a blog about it on the YP site a year ago (https://lnkd.in/e4XCcqGw) and you can read my thoughts in more depth there. However, when only women are in the room, there is a special connection, a sisterhood, before we even introduce ourselves. If you’d like to come along and find out what a whole room full of like-minded businesswomen can achieve if they work together, then you’re very welcome. We will be in the Penventon Park Hotel, in Redruth, from 11.30. Tea and coffee are included, although you’re welcome to buy something else at the bar on your way in. We will order lunch to be delivered during the event, so you can splash out or keep it small/healthy as you prefer. On this particular day, the Penventon is also hosting YP’s Monthly Connector event, which roams around the South West. This begins at 3, and parking will be at a premium, so the canny among us will be there for lunch, and tucked up in corners with our laptops for a couple of hours, then at the Connector event.
