How can we be REALLY certain that our Morro materials are plastic-free? With no widely accepted industry standard for #plasticfree, it can be tricky to understand what is #Greenwashing and what is a true claim. Xampla uses scientific data to prove our materials are plastic free as they're made from natural plant polymers with no chemical modification. Using IR spectroscopy, we’ve validated that the plant protein we use has no chemical alteration when used as Morro coating. Our samples were tested in the University of Cambridge and clearly show the complete alignment between raw materials and Morro materials. When you're using Morro materials, you can be assured you're choosing to go completely plastic-free.

Xampla were honoured to be invited to the Houses of Parliament for a reception hosted by Higginson Strategy and the Right Honourable Baroness Verma of Leicester. Our CEO, Alexandra French, and CTO, Marc Rodríguez Garcia, really enjoyed the event from a fantastic speech by Caroline Wheeler, political editor of The Sunday Times, through to connecting with many attendees including Sian Sutherland, co-founder of A Plastic Planet.  What a magnificent venue to meet some of the great wavemakers in technology, sustainability, politics, and more!
