🤝WRc's Head of Academy, Nicola Richter, participated in today's WaterWoman roundtable in the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Westminster, London, organised by WaterRising Institute and British Water. 🌎Now is a pivotal moment for promoting gender equality in the global water sector. Water insecurity disproportionately impacts women and girls, who are also underrepresented in leadership roles, making it crucial to support their inclusion and empowerment. 🌟WRc supports the implementation of the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles and embraces the ethos of inclusive training and opportunities for women and girls across the globe. 💡Nicola enjoyed engaging in discussions, contributing her insights to help foster a more inclusive water workforce and reinforcing her passion for knowledge partnerships. 🔍Read more about Accelerating Women's Inclusion in Water here: https://bit.ly/46hSSWn Lila Thompson MIEx (Grad), Charles Shachinda, Martin Driscoll, Louise Parry FCIPD, Prof. (Dr) Anusha Shah, Gabrielle Mandell, Angela Day,Antoinette Maiella FCIPD Ruby Jolliffe, Alicia Douglas, Natalia Talkowska, Dan Byles, Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, Energy & Utility Skills, Arcadis, Institute of Water, Market Operator Services Limited (MOSL), MWH Treatment, Vallum Associates, Natalka Design, UnifAI Technology, United Nations #WaterWomanRoundtable #WaterWomanProject #WomeninWater #genderequality #SDG5

🚣Last week WRc participated in Anglian Water’s Rutland Regatta, a fantastic event on the North shore of Rutland Water. 💦Our Assistant Project Manager Jonathan Hook and our Water and Environment Project Manager Sally T. represented us well, engaging in both competition and networking within the Anglian Water Services Supply Chain. This included the Kayak Race and Build and Race a Raft. 💧The WRc team were admirably supported by our RSK Group colleagues from Binnies, SCP and RSK Air Quality with whom we work collaboratively on the SRO Programme. 🤝Our involvement underscores our role as a proud Anglian Water supplier. The regatta also supported WaterAid, which provides essential aid to people in countries where basic sanitation and access to clean water are scarce. 📸Take a look at the below pictures of the team in action: #RutlandRegatta #regatta #AnglianWater
