Shōgun has taken the world by storm since its February debut, garnering critical acclaim and a staggering 25 Emmy nominations, including a well-earned nomination for Outstanding Editing for a Drama Series for our very own Aika Miyake's work on the season finale “A Dream of A Dream.” On the podcast Art Of The Cut with Steve Hullfish, Aika and joint editor Maria Gonzales discussed the unique editing process for Shōgun, diving into the differences between editing feature-length films and commercials, co-editing, and cutting for different languages and cultures.
