Tom joined us right after college as a Ground Floor Team Member, looking to get some hotel experience before a planned move abroad. We've opened a brand new Premier Inn in York City Centre.    The new hotel is located just a stone's throw from York's incredible walls and offers 188 new bedrooms for our Premier Inn guests.    In preparation for the opening of this new hotel, our Premier Inn team dedicated time to being a #ForceForGood.    🌳 In the run-up to the opening they gave 200 hours of their time to local charity, St Nicks Environment Centre, restoring and maintaining areas in the local nature reserve.    💜 In aid of our charity partnership Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, they completed a sponsored 'City Walls Walk' and are continuing their fundraising through various activities.    ♻️ Saved 9500 litres of waste going to landfills through recycling efforts.    We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the opening of our new Premier Inn hotel and who contributed to our Force for Good strategy.   Please join us in wishing Matt Campbell and all the team good luck welcoming their first guests. 🍀   Check out the pics below 📸👇 #NewHotel #NewPremierInn #DreamTeam #ForceForGood #WeMakeItTogether

💙 We’ve raised £25 million for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity! 👏 This whopping total is a demonstration of our teams, guests, and supplier’s commitment. It’s a huge milestone to recognise and we couldn’t have done it without our incredibly dedicated team members. Since 2012, from skydives and marathons to getting crafty and creative, our teams have continued to innovate in their fundraising effort and we are in awe of their commitment. To commemorate hitting this £25 million mark, we held a celebration night for some of our GOSH Champions to celebrate their efforts The money raised has helped to build: 👉 The Premier Inn Clinical Building in 2018 👉 The Sight and Sound Centre in 2021 We're not done yet, as we begin our biggest challenge yet - raising money for a new Children’s Cancer Centre 💙 This milestone marks a key point in our commitment as a Founder Partner of the Children's Cancer Centre and we are by GOSH Charity’s side as they aim to Build It. Beat It. So many of our team members have personal links to the charity and go above and beyond to fundraise every single year. We’re so proud and couldn’t do it without all of you! 🫶
