"I’ll tell you what the big difference between Premier Inn and the others was… the interview."    When we caught up with Roisin, Head Housekeeper at Premier Inn, to find out what made her choose the UK's most loved hotel brand as an employer, the answer was clear. 👆   Interviews can be daunting, there's no doubt about that, but especially when you've decided to step into a new industry.    👩💼Business dress, four-person panels and question after question to prove why you're the right fit for a company, were some of the additional stresses she experienced when interviewing for housekeeping roles at other hotel brands. ❌   However, when she turned up at Premier Inn, she got the warm welcome we’re known for - had an informal chat and a preview of the role. We're growing! 🚀 And it’s not a new hotel this time. 👇    We're excited to announce that we are expanding our partnerships with Post-16 Special Educational Needs (SEN) establishments across the UK.   For those who may not know, our Thrive Programme works with specialist colleges to support young people with special educational needs and learning difficulties. Through hands-on work experience and supported internships, they have the opportunity to transition into paid employment with Premier Inn. 🏨💜   In addition to our longstanding partnerships with Derwen and Hereward Colleges, we’re thrilled to welcome our newest partners, The Liverpool City Region and Lincolnshire County Council. 🤝   Only 4.8% of people with learning difficulties are in paid employment in the UK. As one of the UK’s leading employers, we take responsibility for changing this.
