Absolutely thrilled to have spent time with such an incredible group of people! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 It was a pleasure to dive deep into project management and discuss the importance of inclusive practices when leading teams. Here are my top takeaways: ✔️ Rediscovered My Passion: I realised how much I missed project management. The energy and excitement I have for it are still very much alive, and that was wonderful to experience. ✔️ The Power of Psychological Safety: Witnessing the beauty that emerges when everyone feels safe to bring their true selves to the team ✔️ Thriving in Diversity: Seeing a diverse team with varied ideas and behaviors come together and thrive was nothing short of amazing. The enthusiasm of the team was contagious, and the examples of positive impact from creating a safe space were simply just outstanding. A huge thank you to Surinder for the invite and for demonstrating what great leadership looks like in an inclusive environment! 💪🏽 #ProjectManagement #DiversityAndInclusion #Inclusion #SafeSpace #Leadership #Teamwork What are your thoughts on creating inclusive environments in your teams? Inclusion is always on top of my job………. 🤖 We often hear that "inclusion is on top of my job," but let’s think about it this way: Is being a human being just on top of your job? Of course not! 😊 Here are a few reminders of why inclusivity matters: ·     Our Universe Isn't Perfect: The world doesn't meet everyone's needs equally ·     No One Knows Everything: We can't be experts in everyone's experiences ·     Social Media Pressure: We're overwhelmed by social media and competition If being human isn't hard work, why should inclusion be? 🔄 Shift Your Mindset: Make inclusion your job, not an add-on. Check out the diagram below and let me know what you think! Contact us if you want to learn more and create that safe space everyone talks about 😃 #diversityandinclusion #inclusion #beinghuman #diversity

We have international women’s day coming up! 🎉 Here is what you can do - depending on your organisations stage in D&I… 1. Beginners: - Awareness: Recognising the significance of International Women's Day and its purpose of celebrating women's achievements and promoting gender equality. - Learning: Seeking information about the history, challenges, and achievements of women around the world. - Support: Showing support for women's rights and gender equality through social media posts, sharing relevant content, and participating in awareness campaigns. 2. Intermediate: - Advocacy: Speaking up for women's rights and gender equality, challenging gender stereotypes, and promoting equal opportunities for women. - Empowerment: Encouraging and empowering women to pursue their goals, dreams, and aspirations. - Intersectionality: Recognising and addressing the unique challenges faced by women from different backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, etc. 3. Expert: - Leadership: Taking a leadership role in advancing gender equality, both within organisations and in society at large. - Mentorship: Mentoring and supporting women in their personal and professional development, helping them overcome barriers and achieve success. - Policy and Advocacy: Engaging in policy discussions and advocating for legislative changes that promote gender equality and women's rights. Remember, these levels are not fixed and can overlap. The key is to continuously learn, support, and take action to create a more inclusive and equitable world for women. #iwd2024 #diversityandinclusion #inclusion #equalitymatters

🪔 Wishing you a Diwali filled with light and joy! 🎇 Hindu festival of lights, symbolizing triumph of good over evil. Celebrated with diyas, gifts, and joy, it signifies the victory of positivity and knowledge. Diwali is not just a festival of lights but a celebration of the rich tapestry of cultures and traditions that make our world vibrant. As Vividh is a Hindi word meaning various (which links beautifully to diversity), we celebrate the festival of lights as a time to reflect on the diversity that fuels our success. As it is known that Diwali brings together people from various backgrounds together! 🌟 May the festival of lights inspire us to foster an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued. Happy Diwali to those celebrating and your loved ones! 🪔

Energy. Passion. Insight. What a great workshop, with a fantastic selection of ERG leaders. We were delighted to facilitate this workshop, on ‘Impact and Leading an ERG’, hosted by bp at their fantastic new London offices. With representatives from ERGs at MicrosoftAmazonBritish ArmyFinancial TimesHerbert Smith FreehillsBAE SystemsVodafoneFARFETCH Key questions we discussed were: - How do you define what ‘success’ looks like for your ERG? - How do you define what ‘success’ looks like for you as an ERG leader? - How do you overcome some of the barriers and roadblocks you might typically face? We love the intersection between being an effective leader and Diversity & Inclusion so are looking forward to continuing the learning with everyone involved.
