This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Mark Corbin, Michele Roberts MBA, Susan and Rachel, the Network Resilience team at West Midlands Combined Authority, at our workshop. Being a long term client with one of the largest network of VivaCity sensors in the region, the team came down to learn more about our AI technology and how our operations work... they even got hands on building a sensor - and we're glad to say that they all passed the challenge with flying colours 🎖 We value these memorable events greatly, as they give us the opportunity to learn more about each other, and keep evolving as strong partners in our journey to solve the biggest transportation challenges and make cities better places to live in. We hope to see you guys soon again 👋 #VisionZero #NetZero

I want to see a Network #Resilience team at TfWM that is an intelligent client and understands intimately what we have out there on our streets, we owe it to our #communities to know. We will continue to ask more questions of our suppliers and build different relationships beyond just transactional. Across our road network in the West Midlands we have a number of sensors from VivaCity and I was really please to visit their factory in Milton Keynes this week. Accompanying me was Michele, Susan and Rachel. We want to maximise these assets but we also need to understand how they are built, where they come from what’s inside the device and how we plan better for their use. Thanks to the fabulous team at Vivacity including Flora McFarlane and Shane Foley for making it happen and ensuring all our questions where answered, we even got to build some sensors also. 🎶🎶 - King by Jeff Kaale

❤️ It shouldn't have to cost a life to make roads safer! Revolutionary #NearMiss data can reveal incident hotspots before they become KSIs, which is the cornerstone of proactive and predictive #RoadSafety. With VivaCity's latest Near Miss feature upgrade, it's possible to identify and quantify cyclist-vehicle AND pedestrian-vehicle conflicts. https://lnkd.in/e43q5qyv ⚠#SmartRoadSafety ⚠#ActiveTravel ⚠ #SaferRoads
