VCTC’s Virtual Trial Site does everything that a traditional clinical trial site does. In terms of IP, traditional sites release IP from their onsite pharmacy, we distribute drugs via our central pharmacy and ship directly to patients' homes via our specialist courier service. Flexibility is key for our participants, and IP shipping is one of many services we offer that enables them to take part in our trials from the comfort of their own home, confident that they will be well looked after. I had an amazing time attending Veeva Summit this year in Madrid, learning more about the Veeva products and roadmap. Thank you to Aidan Gannon and Shauna Steib for having me and for bringing sites to the table!

Since attending the VEEVA Summit Europe, we’ve had a chance to reflect on our time there. Here are some of our key takeaways: 🌐 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 It was evident that we are all working towards the same objectives, with a strong emphasis on patient-centricity and site-centricity. 🤝 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 It's encouraging to see sponsors and CROs beginning to involve sites in the conversations. This is a significant step forward and something we can build on. 🔧 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 We must use our tools to their maximum potential. Veeva offers a great suite of applications that can link seamlessly, significantly reducing the workload for everyone involved. 💡 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 It's essential to remember why we do this – to bring medicines to patients as quickly and efficiently as possible. Every role is important, and we can make a significant difference to the patients and families affected by these diseases. Overall, the conference was well-attended with a fantastic atmosphere. The sessions were informative and engaging, with a great collaborative roundtable feel.
