About us
ustwo is a global digital product studio launching products and services that make a meaningful impact on the world. Since our foundation in 2004, we’ve partnered with some of the world’s leading brands and have grown to establish studios in London, New York, Malmö, Lisbon and Tokyo. We champion user-centric design and best-in-class technical practices, but we recognise that product is so much more than either of these in isolation. For us, the magic happens when these elements come together to form a product that is centred around real human needs. And when it comes to quality, we literally wrote the book on how to deliver Pixel Perfect Precision. Our cultural values are centred around enabling the ambitions of the best design and engineering talent in the industry, so that together we can make a difference to the world. We value collaboration, fun, craft, openness and authenticity, and we work as ‘one team’ with our clients. We're proud to be employee-owned and B Corp certified.

We’re hugely proud to be founding partners and working side by side with the Cancer Awareness Trust to create the Cancer Platform and help improve the experience for people with cancer and their carers. It was lovely to host everyone on Monday!
On Monday, we had the pleasure of hosting our first CAT Community Social, bringing together our community of incredible people as well as our Founder Prof. Chris Evans. The evening provided an opportunity for our early supporters to hear updates on the build progress of Cancer Platform. Our expert panel, hosted by our Chair Jane Smit, included Chief Data and Tech Officer Daniel Woolf, Head of Product Leon Williams and Product Principal Jivan Virdee from our digital partners, ustwo, shared insights on the exciting developments ahead. Held at ustwo's Shoreditch office, which is now also our new base, we are immensely grateful to Nicki Sprinz and the wider team for the warm welcome and their support. As we continue our strategy work on Evamore Music - our music brand designed to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Platform - we were incredibly grateful for the performance from Lotide, featuring Simon Pitt and Jenny Plant. Jenny uses music and her immaculate vocals to express and share her own journey with cancer, setting a powerful tone for the evening. The evening was complemented by the delicious catering of Alex Brooks, Martin Dewey and Matt Williamson from field doctor. alongside Katie, the Founder of The Local Squeeze. Field Doctor is collaborating with our partners Morgan Fitzsimons and Kelly McCabe at Perci Health to create a line of healthy meals, designed for women undergoing breast cancer treatment. We’d like to thank everyone for taking the time to join us and for making our first Community Social a real success. We look forward to welcoming even more people to future socials.

When designing for behaviour change, it’s not about keeping users hooked endlessly or building products that last forever. Instead, Greig Robinson, our Head of Design, shares the model we follow at ustwo. It’s about creating meaningful experiences that encourage positive habits – like Sproutiful, the gut health app we designed to help people eat 30 plants each week! 🥕 This video is from our London Design Festival event with Dezeen, L'Oréal, and open-ended, where we discussed how brands can build experiences that keep users coming back. Special thank you to our brilliant speakers: Benedict Hobson, Co-CEO, Dezeen Adrien Gomar, Head of Design, L'Oréal Suhair Khan, Founder & Director, open-ended Stay tuned for more tips from this event! #Dezeen #ustwoAI #Sproutiful #LondonDesignFestival

We built a gut health app to help people eat more plants, but how many plants does our London team actually eat? 👀 One Tuesday a month, we enjoy breakfast together in our Shoreditch studio. This time, we put Sproutiful to the test to see how many plant points we could score. 🍊 Check out the full video to watch Sproutiful in action! 🌱 Thank you Paolo Rizzi and Lauren for feeding us. #Sproutiful #ustwoAI #GutHealth #HealthTech #DigitalHealth

The robotic future may be closer than we think. Nayan J., our Executive Director of AI, shared some insights with Fast Company on the future of humanoid robots. While the hardware has been around for years, the real challenge is perfecting how robots move and interact with us. As Nayan says, we're optimistic, but there's still a way to go. However, China is already allocating funding to mass-produce humanoid robots by 2025, so watch this space! Read the full article here → https://bit.ly/4e9wOzS #Robotics #HumanoidRobots #ustwoAI

How do you build an AI proof of concept in just 8 weeks? Here's how we did it with Sproutiful. 🌱 We wanted to create a gut health companion that helps you think more consciously about what you eat, add more plant variety to your meals, and boost overall well being. So, we blended AI and behavioural science to create a personalised digital health experience that builds lasting habits. These are the principles we followed: 1. Design for all: AI helped us eliminate the hassle of manual logging and high churn rates in digital health services by creating an easier and more personalised experience. 2. Combine creativity, coaching and AI from the start: We built, tested, and iterated fast. We brought in behavioural scientist, Om Lala, to apply motivational interviewing, an evidence-based coaching method that helps people achieve their goals by meeting them where they are. 3. Speed to value: AI did the heavy lifting for us to personalise Sproutiful to each individual. We also used OpenAI’s GPT creator feature and added custom layers to make it more than just a basic chatbot. Read the full story from our CEO Nicki Sprinz, who acted as the client throughout the process, and check out our beta test results → https://bit.ly/3YqRNJA #HealthTech #ustwoAI #Sproutiful #GutHealth #BehaviourChange #DigitalHealth

We collaborated with Bauer Media Group to create Rayo, an app that brings together 100 radio stations and 4,000 curated playlists all in one place! 🎧 From defining a clear vision to product iterations and beta testing with real listeners, we helped Bauer transition from broadcast radio to digital audio. We incorporated features like mood-based content collections and a personalised ‘For You’ page for those ‘lean back’ moments when you just want to hit play.
