We are thrilled to share that our Property Services team has successfully completed a 2-day external audit conducted by The British Standards Institute BSI and they've passed with flying colours! Our integrated management system, which includes ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental, and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, has been thoroughly examined and validated with no non-conformance's identified. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our workforce, who consistently strive to achieve excellence in everything we deliver for our clients and communities. It underscores our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards across all aspects of our operations, further reinforcing our pledge to quality, sustainability, and the well-being of those we serve. We're now into the 2nd year of our 15-year regeneration contract with L&Q, and last year, our teams successfully completed work on 900-1000 properties in Northeast London and Essex! 🏠 Our energy improvement works this year are in full swing, and will ensure that each home achieves a minimum EPC rating of B and C, ensuring reduced energy bills for residents and lowered carbon emissions. We've ensured that we've sourced local suppliers and hired local employees, and regular meetings with L&Q have enabled us to establish meaningful connections with residents. Through our charitable donations to local food banks and our volunteering efforts, we aim to not only support the community but also create a sense of shared growth and mutual benefit. We are committed to strengthening our existing relationship with L&Q and enhancing benefits for residents, which remains our primary focus. Together with WDH, we were pleased to welcome Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire to our Saxton Lane development last week! The Mayor joined us for a tour of the site to see the progress of works, and she used the visit to launch her new 15-year Housing Strategy, the first of its kind in West Yorkshire. The project was made possible through an investment of £1.2m from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the scheme will deliver 204 apartments, all available for affordable rent. The development is also WDH's biggest new build affordable housing scheme since it was formed in 2005. We are excited to see further developments of this project soon and pleased to be working towards the regeneration of the city of Leeds!
