This is something we have been planning for a long time in the background, and now that James Matthewman fully takes on the role of CEO at Supergroup, it is the right time to announce that I will be leading the charge as Chief Executive at Underground Ecom. Growing Underground Ecom has been one of the proudest achievements in my life for the last 6 years, and it has been some journey!!     Underground Ecom has now scaled up to 120 team members. Growing throughout COVID was a struggle at first, until we started hiring remotely. As we exploded to 120 people in just 1 year, keeping the fully distributed team unified felt impossible. With everyone working behind screens, we struggled to build that tight-knit culture. How could we avoid that disconnected, fragmented remote vibe? ✅We broke into pods of 5-6 people to build strong connections with the people you work with and deliver more consistency to clients ✅ We doubled down on team building with virtual events, open office hours, and in person meet ups ✅We mixed up our separate teams through routines that brought them together The result?
