🔉 TransferGo's 12-year journey has been driven by solving the complexities of cross-border payments. 📊 According to Daumantas Dvilinskas, the key to its success has been building a "network of networks" by partnering with local institutions and bypassing systems like SWIFT. 🤝 Early regulatory challenges, including hesitant banks, were overcome with a focus on trust, especially within migrant communities and global citizens. 💬 Expanding into business clients brought new challenges, necessitating a shift in both strategy and company culture—and we're fully committed to navigating this transition hands-on. 🎧 Thank you, Brett Stapper, for the great conversation! Being part of the incredible speaker lineup on the Front Lines of Category Visionaries podcast was a true pleasure. Perfect for those who already work in healthcare or are looking to transition into the UK healthcare industry, the live webinar will be full of tips and tricks based on Toluwani's experience of moving from Nigeria to the UK, drawing on both his successes and inevitable mistakes (which are, after all, how we learn). When I first moved to the UK more than 4 years ago, it represented a fresh start for me. My home country, Nigeria, has given me a whole lot but I felt like I had hit a ceiling. I had worked for about 7 years in Nigeria, but it didn’t feel like I had made much progress in that time. It actually felt like I had been doing the same thing and fighting the same battles for those 7 years. So i moved. However, it definitely wasn’t all Sunshine & Rainbows when i first got to England. In fact, the first 2-3 years were particularly challenging. The good news is that, with the help of God and support from Mentors/family/friends, I learned from my mistakes (and i’m still learning from some of them 😅) and i’m better for it. And i believe that you can learn from them too. This is why i will be hosting an Online Career Masterclass on the 31st of August. 2024, powered by TransferGo Africa. This is for EVERYONE who is currently working in Healthcare OR is looking to transition into Healthcare in the UK You can start by registering for this Masterclass here: https://lnkd.in/eeNeHdRp See you soon! 😁👍🏾
