Job completion ✅ Esh Construction has handed over 106 new affordable homes in Halifax to Together Housing Group. The pioneering regeneration scheme is triple award-winning in recognition of the collaboration and partnership working that helped get the project off the ground, as well as the important role the new homes will play in the regeneration of the Beech Hill area. The topography of the land has posed many challenges to the team, with the lower site lying 20 metres below the upper site. Extensive remediation and enabling works were undertaken with more than 30,000m³ of materials being excavated, crushed, screened and reused on site, creating a 60% reduction in carbon emissions. 90 metres of gabion retaining walls and a NAUE retaining slope have also been installed. Together Housing's decarbonisation works set to support other businesses to offset their own carbon emission levels through HACT Retrofit Credits.
