Following the recent Oasis Ticketmaster saga, the Competition Markets Authority (CMA) opened an investigation into the transparency of dynamic pricing practices, but under the current regime, was unable to impose any penalties on the ticket sales company. This is set to change under the new Digital Markets, Competition Consumers (DMCC) Act, which will come into force in 2025.
