About us

TJX Europe is an exciting place to work with a rapid pace, different challenges every day, and a unique culture of teamwork and collaboration. We are the leading off-price retailer of fashion and homeware worldwide. Our brands in Europe are TK Maxx and Homesense, while elsewhere in the world we have Marshalls, Winners, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Sierra Trading Post and Trade Secret. TJX introduced its unique off-price business model to the UK and Ireland in 1994. The concept turns conventional fashion and home interiors retailing on its head. Our buyers are constantly visiting and building relationships with suppliers all over the world. They have the freedom to buy any products they believe are right for our customers. As a result, every day is different, whether you work in Head Office, in Distribution or on the shop floor. The off-price business model has been very successful for us and we’re growing all the time. Currently, we have over 500 TK Maxx stores and over 40 Homesense stores in Europe, offering contemporary, high quality fashion and homeware at up to 60% less than the recommended retail price. We have big plans to open more stores in the next few years – and that’s alongside our TK Maxx e-commerce website. Our way of operating means our people all have to be true collaborators and team players, thinking quickly, adapting to every situation and thriving on change. If you work for us, whatever job you do, every day is different, unexpected and exciting. At TJX, we’re all about collaboration. The atmosphere is informal, open and friendly. We value flexibility and adaptability. And we emphasise the importance of building working relationships and helping colleagues succeed. When you first join, you get time to develop those crucial relationships. That way, you always have someone to ask for help. There’s a huge variety of careers available in the TJX group. So much fun and laughter with our friends and colleagues at TJX Summer Fest celebrations across Europe. At TJX Europe we believe in a culture of strong partnerships and working together, along with a dose of good fun. As part of an annual calendar across offices, stores and distribution facilities, last week we asked our office associates to down tools for our 90s themed TJX Summer Fest. With a nod and a wink to our 30th birthday celebrations, we had a range of events across our European locations from a roller disco, DJ, retro games station, karaoke, pop quiz to glitter bar and disco yoga ….. And of course, everyone was fed and watered with delicious refreshments throughout. Have a look at the little film that our TJX Europe Head Office team in Watford made of their celebration.  Fun, laughter and relaxing together. #DiscoverDifferent #SummerFun #celebration #teamwork #collaboration #recognition

As headline sponsors of The Prince's Trust and TK MAXX & HomeSense Awards, we are proud to congratulate Cherelle on being this year's winner of the Homesense Young Achiever Award.       For an incredible ten years, TK Maxx and Homesense have been partners of The Prince’s Trust helping over 5,500 young people with education, training and employment opportunities, empowering them with the skills and confidence for a brighter future. We are one of The Trust’s largest delivery partners of the Get into Retail programme. This is a two-to-six-week course that develops young people’s skills in the retail sector and supports them into positive outcomes in retail. Since the partnership began, over 70% of young people who have taken the course went on to full time employment at TK Maxx or Homesense.      TJX Europe President Michael Munnelly said: “Cherelle is a truly deserving winner of this year’s Young Achiever award. The Trust’s awards are a wonderful way to recognise and celebrate young people, like Cherelle, whose stories inspire self-confidence, belief, and courage. This makes us incredibly proud to be one of the Trust's most longstanding partners, helping thousands of young people facing adversity. We congratulate Cherelle and we all wish her every success in the future.”
