Thomas Miller is pleased to announce the publication of its second annual ESG report. The 2024 ESG Report delves into some detail on what we have done over the past year to deliver our 2023 ESG targets and commitments, our progress across our five pillars of ESG and CSR, along with the specific actions we will take in the forthcoming year to achieve our ESG strategy. Building on our 2023 Report, in 2024 we showcase how we continue to promote a proactive approach towards embedding ESG in everyday business practices and we have outlined our intention to move towards more quantitative data driven targets where possible in 2025 and beyond. We have reviewed our progress against the ESG commitments we made in 2023 and are pleased to share that these have all been achieved. We were thrilled to attend the City Giving Day Engagement Breakfast Event this morning for The Lord Mayor's Appeal. The event gave an insight into City Giving Day itself, which is a unique annual event uniting businesses in the City of London and beyond, celebrating the positive impact they have for their charity partners and their communities, through fundraising and volunteering. We heard from The Lord Mayor of London, alongside a number of representatives from The Lord Mayor's Appeal, and also some case studies aimed at inspiring new ideas for the day itself. One month ago we launched our annual Thomas Miller Extra Mile Challenge on Mental Health Awareness Week, aligned to the theme of "Movement: Moving more for our mental health", encouraging our employees to come together to engage in a variety of different physical activities using the GoJoe app. 🧡 The challenge also aimed to raise money for our Corporate Charity Partner, St Mungo's. We set ourselves a target of 30,000 points, as this represents the number of people the charity supports each year who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. 🏅 169 employees took part across 33 teams, reaching 30,225 points and travelling a total distance of 31,140km across the month, raising £650 for St Mungo's. Congratulations to those that took part, and all of our winners across the individual weekly challenges, and final standing results which can be found on our company intranet, along with the prizes of a donation to a charity of their choosing!
