New Work: Thirst X Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company, Hobgoblin. Just in time for Halloween, Hobgoblin, the mischievous maverick of British ale, has emerged with a striking new look that bridges the gap between time-honoured brewing traditions and contemporary tastes. This characterful ale offers a refreshing alternative for those yearning for authenticity in a world of fleeting trends. We’ve unleashed our Hobgoblin, infusing every touchpoint with the cheeky personality that defines our ‘Ale Real Character’ ethos. The result? An ale that doesn’t just stand out — it offers a genuine experience and alternative for those who find themselves culturally caught between predictable stalwarts and the sometimes overwhelming world of craft beer. Angostura bitters are known for being an essential ingredient in some of the world’s most famous and best-loved drinks. They approached Thirst to evolve the look and feel of their globally distributed soft drink Lemon, Lime and Bitters. The brief was two-fold; firstly to create a sub-brand proposition to allow the brand to sit more confidently within the house of Angostura brand family, paying back to the masterbrand, and secondly, to bring more character and excitement within the competitive mainstream soft drinks space. Transitioning from a can to a bottle format, and working with a new sub-brand name Chill, we created a design system with enough flexibility to allow for future line extensions but with enough rigour to pay homage to the brand’s iconic bitters paper label. https://lnkd.in/etUP8DfK

Founded in 2010 at 77 19th St in Brooklyn, Breuckelen Distilling was entering into a new era of ambition as it planned its first foray into blending. To take on established giants and young pretenders alike, the distillery needed a new brand that could win in its own backyard and beyond: by showing Breucklen’s Brooklyn to the world. The name Brueckelen is the original Dutch spelling of what we all now know of as Brooklyn, a place where artists go to perfect their art, where makers flock to make their mark, and where each generation works together to inspire the next. It is a place that’s built on what has come before. Old foundations meeting fresh ideas. We used this as the launching pad for the new Brueckelen Distilling brand platform, bottling the beautiful duality that lives at the heart of its home. The ever-collaborative nature of the blend and its borough is captured in a simple manifesto: All bridges and no boundaries. Brooklyn’s continual renaissance has informed every element of our design as we paired timeless and iconic features of Brooklyn with bold modernity. Inspired by the brass plaques emblazoned on the sides of the Brooklyn Bridge, we crafted a tactile, typographic approach that merges raw utility with refined craft, to create an elegant but industrial feel. https://lnkd.in/eG5ZZfBB

New Work: Introducing the new packaging and identity for Brewgooder's wave-making beer, Fonio Session IPA. Brewgooder recently achieved Fairtrade International certification for the beer that is brewed with Fairtrade Fonio grain. This ensures that West African farmers and communities growing this super grain get paid a fair price. Excited to have been able to continue working with Brewgooder on this amazing project.

New Work for The Botanist Gin and Bruichladdich Distillery Company The Botanist Distiller's Strength, initially launched in the US market, answers the call for a higher-strength gin with which to create exquisite spirit-forward cocktails, a luxurious viscous liquid at 50% ABV made for gin connoisseurs. Our challenge was to develop an identity and launch assets that would set this new luxurious experience from The Botanist apart from their GTR exclusive Hebridean Strength which plays in the world of Navy Strength gin. Moving away from the Latin embossing on our bottle as our hero visual asset and leaning into the 'Magic in the making' of cocktails we focused on showcasing the beauty of the liquid. In partnership with photographer Rob Lawson we captured a suite of photography and motion assets that brought the bartender's world to life through dramatic serve and cocktail-making imagery.
