Earlier this week, members from our Technical team took a break from the lab to trade test tubes for paintbrushes during their Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) day with Bradford on Avon Town Council. They rolled up their sleeves to strip, paint, and spruce up the Youth & Community Centre, making it into a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. We are proud to support impactful initiatives like this and contribute to the wellbeing of our local community- a big shout out to everyone who pitched in! 🎨💪✨

We’re fortunate to have an in-house team of 12 Regulatory Compliance specialists at THG LABS and July marked the beginning of their Masterclass season. The session kicked off with an exploration of the meticulous processes we have in place to uphold the highest standards in the beauty products we manufacture for our brand partners. 🏭💄 The Regs masterclass began with a comprehensive overview of raw material sourcing, covering the criteria we use to select the best suppliers and the stringent quality checks each material undergoes before being approved for use. Attendees learnt about the critical importance of traceability and transparency in our supply chain which is key in ensuring every raw material can be tracked back to the manufacturer. Our experts then delved into the various regulatory frameworks that govern the beauty industry, highlighting the complex landscape of international standards and certifications that the products we develop and manufacture must comply with. The team demonstrated how they navigate these regulations so that our products meet the legal requirements and standards requested by our brand partners brands and guaranteeing safety, efficacy, and quality. 🌍📜 This masterclass was a fantastic platform for people across different departments to learn from the expertise and experience of our Regulatory team. It’s fostered a greater appreciation for the rigorous processes involved in product development and compliance and highlighted the team's critical role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence. We look forward to future sessions where we will continue to deepen our understanding of the regulatory landscape and enhance our collaborative efforts in maintaining the highest standards in beauty. 🤝

Last week, 28 members of our Compounding and Technical team rallied together to give the Frome sensory garden a refresh. 💪🌳 Utilising their allocated ESV (Employer Supported Volunteering) days, the THG LABS team rolled up their sleeves and dedicated themselves to a day of manual labour. They took on various tasks, from landscaping and levelling, to reconstructing garden beds and painting park benches. Their efforts were aimed at breathing new life into the garden, making it an ideal environment for both people and pollinators. 🌼🐝 The team's collaborative spirit and hard work ensured that the garden was transformed into a welcoming and vibrant space for the community to enjoy – great work, guys! 💚
