Last week, 28 members of our Compounding and Technical team rallied together to give the Frome sensory garden a refresh. 💪🌳 Utilising their allocated ESV (Employer Supported Volunteering) days, the THG LABS team rolled up their sleeves and dedicated themselves to a day of manual labour. They took on various tasks, from landscaping and levelling, to reconstructing garden beds and painting park benches. Their efforts were aimed at breathing new life into the garden, making it an ideal environment for both people and pollinators. 🌼🐝 The team's collaborative spirit and hard work ensured that the garden was transformed into a welcoming and vibrant space for the community to enjoy – great work, guys! 💚

💜 This afternoon, we had the privilege of welcoming Jessica Gay from FearFree to lead an insightful session for our team at THG LABS. 🧡 FearFree is committed to providing essential support and safety to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence, and stalking in our community. Jessica shared the profound challenges faced by those impacted and the critical resources available to support them. The stories and statistics are eye-opening, reinforcing the importance of community awareness and proactive involvement. A huge thank you to Jessica and the FearFree team for their dedication and for sharing their expertise with us. Your work is truly inspiring and makes a significant difference in the lives of many. Just some of the sobering figures we're walking away with today are that 1 in 4 women, 1 in 5 children, and 1 in 6 men experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Through sessions like this, our goal is to not only educate ourselves but also to strengthen our community ties.
