About last night.... I don't have a lot of words, my heart is full, we did what we set out to do 18 months ago which is to celebrate women and gender non binary change makers and make everyone feel genuinely good for 2 and a half hours. All the participants, semi finalists, finalists, judges, sponsors, judges choice award, the board, my volunteers, my MC, thank you. it was worth everything sacrificed to see this happen. Special shout out to the winners last night, which was everyone. Thank you. More in the comments throughout the day as I find better words. The Wisbys has delivered over and above. ready for year 2.

Hey!!! We can’t believe The Wisbys Women in Sustainable Business Awards are TODAY 28th of September! It’s been a long road to get here, and we’re so pleased you joined us on the journey. Come and join us from 4:15 p.m. (UK Time) The day has arrived and we cannot be so excited to announce our winners!! If you’re attending the event, thank you so much for your support. Here’s a taste of what’s in store today (all times are BST (UK)): The event kicks off at 4:15 p.m. with Networking, Natters, and Nibbles. This is FREE to attend and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and business owners and build new connections. It will be streaming live in the Facebook group and here on the Wisbys LinkedIn page. At 5 p.m., we’ll switch to YouTube for the main event. Comedian Holly Hudson will get things started with some laughs, alongside our very own Katherine. The first awards will be announced at 5:15 p.m., followed by a keynote on green marketing and then the second batch of awards. After that, we’ll hear about a green startup’s journey, and then it’s time for the Judge’s Choice awards. If you want to feel good about the world, come to this event and have your hopes soar just a little bit or maybe a lot, for one glorious evening. You know I've never been good at doing just one thing. so although I returned to traditional work, I've still been using my nights and weekends with a group of almost 30 others in a volunteer capacity to bring this event to life. This has been 18 months of work for me. Breathing life into our very first The Wisbys - Women in Sustainable Business Awards 2023 is an honour and source of tremendous pride for me, its also humbling, exciting, anxiety creating, and all around an incredibly rewarding experience so far. We will be honouring 14 finalists, and 30 businesses in all who reached the semi-final and final rounds of the awards. The event it self will be hosted by Comedian, Actor, and Ghost Writer Holly Hudson, as well as featuring talks from Lola Fernandez of Green Cloud Nine, and Michelle Miller from The Green Marketing Academy™.
