Meet one of our experts in additive manufacturing, Amanda. Amanda is a Senior Research Engineer in Additive Manufacturing at MTC with over 10 years of experience in materials science and additive manufacturing (AM). She holds a Materials Science degree from the University of Birmingham and a PhD sponsored by the UK Atomic Energy Authority on additive manufacturing for nuclear fusion. Previously, she worked at Materials Solutions – A Siemens Energy business, gaining experience in power generation, aerospace, motorsport and supporting AM component production. At MTC, Amanda leads metal AM technologies, including metal binder jetting and powder bed fusion, and oversees technical projects on AM feasibility, sustainability, material development, and part manufacturing.
