With drills, games, competitions, pumpkin games and goalkeeper training, what more could you possibly want 🥅⚽️ 📅 Mon-Thu (21st-24th Oct) 🕰️ 10-3pm 💰 £12.50 for members (£15 for non members - membership only costs £5 for the year!!!) This week our Community Manager Kerry met with Jasmine and Emily from the fostering team at NELC and we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a Christmas Party for children in their care 🧡 Every year we host this event to support vulnerable children in our area and, as we are now proud to be a ‘Foster Friendly Business’ we felt it quite fitting to work with the team to promote such a great event. We now need your help 🙏🏻 Whilst we know the dressed ‘C’ word probably shouldn’t be mentioned in September 🤦🏼♂️ we like to be organised. We host this party every Christmas, it is a very rewarding event on our calendar but we needed a little help to make this possible. The costs for this event are estimated to be around £1,500 These costs come from the following… 🚖 Taxis to pick up and drop the children off after the party 💃 Disco and party with a DJ 🎅 Santa visits all the children 🎁 Each child will receive a gift from Santa 🥪 Buffet/party food We are therefore calling on local businesses who would like to help towards such a worthwhile cause by donating as much or as little as you can. Our Sports Manager has been busy!
😵 Whirlwind few weeks 😵 It's been a whirlwind few weeks at The Trin and I have well and truly been swept away! I feel like I have neglected LinkedIn recently, so here's a summary of what I have been up too: - 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜: We provided school staff with 3 days of training to upskill them. We really devled into the cognitive development and mental health, to keep us more informed when delivering our sessions. - 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛: I have supported our school staff who have started the academic year in schools. We have grown from 3 schools to 8, so this has been an exciting start to September! -𝙎𝙇𝙏 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙮: Our quarterly Senior Leadership Team planning day was this week. A full day was spent planning the future and aligning our strategic aims. Now, the focus will be on the new Sports Centre. We have the small matter of the final months of construction before the grand opening in the new year! It will be here before we know it! Busy Busy! But that's how we like it! ⭐️ 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 ⭐️ As a charitable organisation, we rely heavily on funding for the many projects that we run so we feel it is important to acknowledge the support that we are given as, without this, we would not be able to run our youth groups. With support from Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner we are able to offer many young people accessible, inclusive facilities that are free and managed by our amazing youth team. With this funding we can educate, empower and actively encourage participation in many activities aimed at keeping young people safe. In addition, we are able to offer workshops on relevant topics and real life scenarios in a hope that our young people remain free from harm.
