The Talent Foundry team came together for two days last week to learn, develop and grow as a team. 💥 A huge shout out to Julie Smith, PCC for her excellent training workshops over the two days – filled with insight and lots of laughs. By exploring our DiSC profiles, we got to know each other and ourselves even better. We also dove into the art of developing our personal brand in an authentic (and non-cringey! 🙈) way. We also got to hear Jenni Tomblin MSc's plans for The Talent Foundry’s future, highlighting the amazing growth we’ve had recently. We couldn’t have achieved our success this year without every single member of our dedicated team, facilitators and partners. So, once again, we thank you for everything you do to help us achieve our mission. ❤️

This #YouthEmploymentWeek, we're celebrating the end-of-term with Mace on our Bridge to a career in construction programme. When students return in September our support will continue as they apply for an apprenticeship with the Mace team. Thank you to the volunteers, including former Bridge students, facilitators and coaches who have been preparing students for the next stage in their education and career. #YouthWorldSkillsDay #Careers #Employability #SocialMobility
🌟Empowering future talent at Mace🌟 This World Youth Skills Day, we celebrate the vital role of youth in shaping our future. Over the past two years, we’ve teamed up with The Talent Foundry to guide Year 12 students on their journey to securing apprenticeships. Our recent workshop with the Emerging Talent team was a great success! Colleagues and apprentices shared invaluable tips on the application process, followed by mock interviews led by our Fit-out and Retrofit team. The students left feeling inspired and well-prepared, equipped with practical skills and a peek into life at Mace. We look forward to receiving their applications when submissions open this September! 📥 Interested in joining us? 💡 Thank you Logicor for an inspiring insights and skills development day with your team in Daventry! Students from The Duston School, Harris Church of England Academy, The Avon Valley School & Performing Arts College and Bilton School took part in Reach Daventry to learn more about the logistics sector, and develop their problem-solving and teamwork skills. Diane Fisher, teacher at The Duston School said: “The workshop was perfect. The students were engaged throughout, and it has made the world of logistics come to life for them. The workshop has made them consider real estate logistics as a potential career path. It has opened their eyes to the numerous opportunities within this industry and improved their confidence and presenting skills.” #TeamLogicor #Community #Daventry #Careers #Employability #SocialMobility
🌟 As part of our focus to positively impact and engage communities local to where we operate, colleagues from across the UK spent the day inspiring 210 Year 10 and Year 12 students, through core skills development workshops. With a focus on giving new opportunities to students from underserved backgrounds, Logicor partnered with The Talent Foundry for the second year running. 👉 Giving young people employability skills and helping them experience careers that might otherwise seem out of reach. 💡 The in-school workshops focused on schools in Daventry close to #LogicorParkDaventry, giving young people an insight into the world of logistics real estate and a chance to get hands-on with designing, creating and presenting their own warehouses. Michael Slattery, Logicor CEO, said: “It was great for all of us at Logicor to spend time with the students at four schools across Daventry, home to our UK flagship development. “Together we talked about the opportunities found within the logistics real estate sector and discussed with the students their future ambitions. The highlight for me was to see the brilliantly thought-out innovative warehouse designs and watching the students present their ideas to our team. “Huge thanks to all the students, staff and The Talent Foundry for this opportunity – we all loved it.” Charlie Howard Anthony McCluskie Matthew Storr Jack Garrett Samuel Towers Liam Lewis Lucy Dollimore Helena Green Oliver Hayes MRICS Rachel Boorer MRICS Richard Phillips Tom Blakely Shane Kelly Lizzie Beuzeval Sarah Wood Cecilia McCullen Jack Bartholomew Georgina Crawfurd (Assoc.
