It’s not every day that a charity reaches the 140th year milestone, but particularity one like RPT that works across children’s and youth services, which have seen statutory funding slashed, making many youth centres like ours dependent upon the support of their local communities to keep them afloat. We’re incredibly lucky to have so many amazing staff, supporters, volunteers and independent funders who make it possible for us to help so many children, young people and families each year. Through arts, sport, music, mentoring and support in academics, employment, mental health and wellbeing, they help children and young people in the community to overcome barriers to reach their full potential. This is a really exciting time for the charity as they celebrate their 140th anniversary and look towards the next phase of development. The Director of Youth and Family Services will lead and manage operational service delivery and the delivery of outreach and community engagement in and around west London. We’re still reeling from the amazing triumph of our runners in the #LondonMarathon. Not only did they all finish in epic times, but they’ve raised more than £20,000 for our North Kensington children’s and youth services… all while balancing working, studying and commitments to family and friends.
