On Sunday, August 25th, we celebrated Ukrainian Independence Day with a special event for the Brent Ukrainian community. It was a memorable day filled with emotional moments, outstanding performances by community members, and fun activities for children. We are grateful to Brent Council for funding this event and to the Mayor of Brent, Cllr Tarik Dar, MBE, for joining us and delivering a heartfelt speech. A big thank you goes to the event performers, to our colleagues and volunteers whose contributions made this celebration truly exceptional. #UkraineIndependenceDay

We are delighted to have partnered up with Harrow Council in organizing a Ukraine Independence Day celebration in Harrow on Saturday, 24th August. Our thanks go to Cllr. Busy end and start of the week with our colleagues Nadia Mihai and @AlidaPreotescu raising awareness of workers' rights in the UK and modern slavery to Romanian nationals attending appointments at the itinerant Consulate in Cardiff on Friday and respectively The General Consulate of Romania in London on Monday. Spotlight on The Romanian and Eastern European Hub, one of the charities residing at Seeds Hub. 🌟   Their services support communities across the UK: from employment signposting, domestic abuse support to school or housing registration, UTR and NINO applications, all the way to English classes and interpreting.
