We wanted to convey a sense of grandeur, but also intimacy, all in a Neo-noir atmosphere. The player will be able to scale these high towers, owning their surroundings... Movies are known to be using practical effects. Games can use them too! For "Still Wakes the Deep" we collaborated with Video Artist Sam Spreckley and used real celluloid film, sometimes burnt, for effects frequently encountered in the game.
