It’s that time of year again: GCSE results are out. One of our Research and Evaluation Officers, Dan, has written a blog on data trends and how educational interventions have an impact on final GCSE grades. With 20 years as an evaluation consultant, Sarah is passionate about her work benefitting every individual and organisation. She specialises in designing and conducting accessible evaluations for marginalised groups. You know what it’s like, you see an email pop into your inbox asking for donations or support but you’re just heading out of the door, so you plan to come back to it later. Except we all get distracted, and I don’t know about you, but I forget a lot of things. A great tip for getting more donations is to be present: follow up on emails and messages. People are busy and a gentle reminder never hurts, especially if someone has pledged a donation, shown interest, or mentioned to you in person that they would like to get involved.
