The result – it’s as good for the environment as it tastes.

FRUITFUL SUMMER Data just released by CGA, shows that Thatchers Cider was the fastest growing draught fruit cider over the last 12 months. It follows a great summer of sport and events, with the Euro finals seeing draught fruit cider sales rise by 105%, outperforming the total Long Alcoholic Drinks category (which also includes beer, lager and stout) by 16%. Our Fusion range, which allows venues to delight customers with three award-winning fruit flavours, from just one line and one keg, was a significant driver of this.   Our fruit cider range, which includes Apple & Blackcurrant, Cloudy Lemon and Blood Orange, also saw record sales at festivals across the UK; from Eden Sessions in Cornwall to Kendall Calling in Cumbria.

WE’VE LAUNCHED A JUICY NEW CIDER IN THE OFF-TRADE 💦🍎 🛒 Since launching in pubs and bars earlier this year, Thatchers Juicy Apple has been reinvigorating the apple cider category, and thanks to demand, we’re making it available in retail too.   🌞 Made using sun-drenched apples and 100% renewable electricity, including power generated from the 3,500 solar panels on our farm, the new 4% ABV cider is literally powered by sunshine. 🫧 The next generation cider, made by the next generation of the Thatcher family, has also taken CO2 produced during fermentation and used it as bubbles in the cider. The result – it’s as good for the environment as it tastes. 🍎 Juicy Apple is available now in Morrisons as a single 500ml bottle, 4 x 440ml can packs and 10 x 440ml can packs and will be available nationally across major retailers in the coming months. HAZE MUSIC SESSIONS ARE BACK Summer’s all about those laid-back moments, with the sun on your face and music in the air, so we’ve funded a series of free gigs which will take place across St Austell Brewery pubs. Best of all, the first 80 people to arrive will receive a free pint of Thatchers Haze – the perfect accompaniment to the smooth sounds of the sessions! It kicks off tomorrow (Friday 26 July) at The Old Success Inn in Sennen, with local, acoustic artists and a backdrop of surfers and sunsets. The vibe continues through Hope Cove, Kingsbridge and Bath before wrapping up in Bristol with a three hour DJ set at the Wellington. Haze Sessions celebrate everything that this cider is about; enjoying the simple pleasure of meeting friends and family in your favourite pub and listening to live music with the perfect pint in your hand.
