Team Repair HQ transformed into a production studio for 24 hours to bring you our first official ad for our home subscription programme! Written, filmed, edited, & rendered all in-house over a couple days in our office, with some fantastic acting help (thank you!). Not quite the same budget as the John Lewis Christmas advert but we're happy with the results 😁 So, if you know any families who would love to rediscover the joy of tinkering this Christmas, please share this with them! 🎄 Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/es8U3-gB Video link: https://lnkd.in/eMNr9vRy

Do you know a child who: 🔧 Loves taking apart things around the house? 🌍 Is endlessly curious about how the world works? 🎮 Learns best through hands-on play? I do. That was me. When I was younger, science kits were always a letdown. They were fun, but they didn’t really satisfy my curiosity. I wanted to understand real things—why my phone worked, how I could fix it. Taking apart an old appliance was way more thrilling to me than building a potato clock! That’s why we created something I wish younger Meg could have had: 🔧 Team Repair Fixers Club 🔧 A hands-on, quarterly repair kit that teaches kids not just how things work, but how to repair them. Over the last two years, we’ve piloted, perfected, and built the Fixers Club to give curious kids the excitement of real problem-solving and the confidence to tackle something broken. Every three months, they’ll receive a new gadget to repair, with interactive guides that make each challenge approachable and fun. So if you’re looking for a unique, impactful gift for your budding engineer, I’m biased, but I think this is the Christmas present they’ll remember. 👉 Give your child the gift of hands-on learning with Team Repair Fixers Club. Join us today to empower them to Fix the Future! https://lnkd.in/eX2HJnXt

Fantastic to launch London’s Circular Economy Week with ReLondon UK. London’s innovators are leading the way in creating solutions to reuse and reduce waste—driving growth, creating jobs, and tackling the climate crisis. The circular economy offers huge potential, with the opportunity to create 284,000 new jobs and contribute £24 billion to our economy by 2030. This isn’t just about protecting our planet — it’s about lifting up communities. By reducing waste, we can lower costs and make essential goods more accessible to all Londoners. London is ready to lead the way. Together, we can build a greener, fairer future.

Why everyone should be taught how to repair - and why Tiktok agrees with us 🤩 We had a video gain some traction last week just in time for back to school season, asking parents to tell their kids’ teachers about Team Repair. We were blown away by the number of teachers emailing us following this - referrals are so powerful! In summary of the video - repair is good for the planet, good for the wallet, and a great way to get students interested in the science behind how real things work. 🔧 For any LinkedIn parents who would also like to get repair taught in their children’s schools, we have set up a referral scheme! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/ea4NwE-T
