Part of The Usborne Foundation, we create fun-filled learning games kids love to play.

About us

Teach Your Monster is a non-profit that creates magical, fun-filled learning games for kids. We’re part of The Usborne Foundation, a charity set up to support early years learning founded by children’s publisher, Peter Usborne. Harnessing research, design and technology, we create interactive media exploring new areas of children’s development, from literacy to health. With the help of friendly monsters, playful design and out-of-this-world storytelling, we work with leading academics to develop imaginative games kids love to play.

It's National Numeracy Day today and we have very exciting news... We’re excited to announce that 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 is expanding! Our team have been working hard to bring out the next stage of Number Skills, set to expand into the UK Key Stage 1 Year 1 curriculum and US standards for Kindergarten curriculum. As ever, backed by our Maths expert 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁, this next part of the game includes important concepts such as place value and composition/decomposition vital for building confidence in addition/subtraction and laying the foundations for multiplication and division, whilst we’ve been in schools working hard to make sure that kids are having as much fun playing the game as they do with all our other games.
