Wow! What an experience at Barclays Technology Centre, Radbroke last Thursday! 💙 Young people from across Knutsford, Manchester, Stockport, Telford and even further (some travelled from London!) came together at Barclays incredible Technology Centre in Radbroke to: 💡 Network with Barclays apprentices and colleagues 💡 Expand their knowledge on the incredible and varied career and apprenticeship opportunities available at Barclays 💡 Upskill themselves on how to approach and stand out during the application process Not only that, they even had the opportunity to programme real-life robots during an exciting, interactive session with Barclays’ Robotics team! 🤖 Values was the key focus of last Thursday’s session and from putting themselves out there to network with new peers and professionals in the room, to taking on the challenge of making a robot ballet dance, every young person who attended embodied one of Barclays’ key company values: EXCELLENCE! 🌟 Huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers and panellists, Martin Abberley, Marisa Lucci, Joshua Antwi, Imogen Calderbank and Fizah Malik for sharing your experiences as former and current apprentices, and to Sophie Duncan for your inspiring keynote! Your input is so valuable in empowering the next generation of professionals! 💫 #apprenticeships #barclays #womenintech #womeninstem #finance #coding #girlpower

Had a fantastic day with Year 13 at the Barclays Radbroke Technology Centre, thanks to Talent Spaces! Our students gained valuable insights into Barclays’ degree apprenticeship opportunities and took part in a hands-on robotics activity. A brilliant experience for all involved, providing a great look into the future of tech careers. Thank you again to Asha Kailey for signposting and funding our transport for this opportunity!

At Talent Spaces, we are deeply disturbed by the recent surge of racist and Islamophobia violence, riots, and intimidation spreading across the country. We recognise that these heinous acts, falsely justified as a response to the tragic murder of three young girls in Southport, have left thousands feeling anxious, frightened, and angry. Racism & Islamophobia in any form is unacceptable, and attempts to disguise it under false pretences only perpetuate hate. At Talent Spaces, we stand in solidarity with those affected by these events and with all who continue to face threats from racist, dangerous and violent groups. Our country’s diversity is our greatest strength. As an organisation committed to engaging with underrepresented young people from all backgrounds—regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender identity or socio-economic status—we want you to know that we stand with you. We urge everyone to check in with their colleagues, students and friends. We advocate for more LOVE and less hate. 🎉 Wow, what an incredible day at the Talent Spaces and Barclays UK Apprenticeship Insight Day collab last week! 🌟 Representation from over 14 different local schools and nearly 60 girls and non-binary students packed the Radbroke Technology Centre in Knutsford, Cheshire to the brim! 🏫 Kudos to the students who applied, secured themselves a space AND...navigated their way to the venue! 🙌 The day kicked off with an impressive welcome address from Carolyn Ngiam 🎤, followed by an exciting assessment centre-style task where students tested their survival skills 🌊. They had the unique opportunity to hear directly from a panel of inspirational Barclays apprentices and also learn some valuable Top Tips for a successful application 🎓🗣️. 🧠 The final afternoon was a burst of creativity & innovation with a fun STEM tech challenge where students brainstormed and formed some impressive tech solutions! 💡🤖 A huge well done to all our students for getting stuck in 💪👏 and of course, a massive shoutout to the incredible onsite Barclays support team – Sunit Patel, Daniela Vargas, and Esha Saha – who along with all the lovely volunteers gave up their time, and Thomas McIlroy for entrusting us with the task! ❤️🙌. Together, you helped create a wonderful and impactful experience for the students (and along with their goody bags!) they all left with very big smiles on their faces! 😃 We can't wait to see you again in October! 🍂👋 If you want to be part of the progress story...and create impactful, targeted events that help you recruit underrepresented talent...get in touch now to see how we can support you! 💙 #TalentSpaces #BarclaysApprenticeship #STEM #Innovation #TeamWork #careersinsights #workexperience

Content Creator?🤔 One of my cherished hobbies is content creation, so you can imagine my excitement when Talent Spaces and BT Group presented us with a social media challenge to showcase our experience at the BT office today. It was an absolute delight to marry my creative skills with my growing corporate journey, adding a dash of personality and flair to an already enriching day.

🌟 Wow, what an incredible day we had yesterday at our STEM festival! 🌟 An amazing day filled with networking, workshops, inspiring speakers, trade stalls, and insightful panel talks. Plus, we got an exclusive inside peek at the incredible BT Aurora lab...who knew teleportation was already here or that they were growing plants underground?! 🤯 We were thrilled to welcome over 100 girls and non-binary students into this fantastic space hosted by BT Group to explore the world of STEM with us. The engagement was brilliant - and huge congratulations to all our students who secured a spot! 👏 A huge thank you to our sponsors: GSK , BT Group , MOD, Pfizer , and Dyson for their continued efforts in striving to make a more equitable and accessible workforce! 🙌 Special thanks to Zoe Baker and Sophia Mellor and the BT team for being brilliant hosts. Last week we had the pleasure of supporting GE HealthCare with a super engaging and interactive Insights day at their beautiful site in Buckinghamshire 🌳 Over 55 girls and non-binary students joined us for a day of activities...from exploring their AMAZING brains 🧠 and making 'brain hats' to using ultrasound machines and inspiring employer panel talks. 💬 This incredible day allowed students to test and try out some equipment, understand more about the ageing brain and learn about the roles and pathways of some of the GEHealthCare employers. Talent Spaces we work with you to create unforgettable learning experiences, we connect diverse and under-represented talent to employers...providing you with the opportunity to tackle some of your unique recruitment challenges... AND importantly allowing more young people a chance to explore and discover a career they'll love 💙 Get in touch to see how we can support you! Massive shout out to the GE HealthCare team for their creative agenda and the Buckinghamshire Skills Hub for working with us to help engage local schools and teachers. Teamwork 🙏 Thank you for partnering with Talent Spaces team and we look forward to the next collaboration!
