A second community conversation on the £250 million plans for a mixed residential neighbourhood to the west of Stockport town centre known as Stockport 8 has been launched. Stockport Interchange wins double at the 2024 North West Regional Construction Awards! 🎉   We're thrilled to announce Stockport's new multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art transport interchange, 196 residential apartments and rooftop park has picked up two awards:    🏆 Sub-Region Project of the Year for Greater Manchester   🏆 Infrastructure Project of the Year   The judges said: "In this project the judges found what they were looking for – a project that exemplifies the Constructing Excellence principles demonstrating the successful implementation of better ways of working and leaving the evidence behind so that others can borrow and adapt. This was an impressive submission for a great project that delivered excellent outcomes.
