On 19 July 2024, partners Nichola F. and Katherine Fitter had the opportunity to visit the Edge Adaptive Sports Centre at Heron Lake in Staines to attend the Adaptive Sports Access Adventures professional’s day. Access Adventures is a registered charity that delivers life changing adaptive sports and activities. Their services are designed to challenge expectations and build self-confidence for people with disabilities. In addition, we met the team from Adaptiv Sports Ltd., who manufacture bespoke mobility equipment. We look forward to sharing our knowledge from the day with our clients, so they can both partake in the activities and sports offered by Access Adventures and trial the Adaptiv equipment.

In November 2023, soon after the first King’s Speech, the Automated Vehicles Bill was introduced into parliament to regulate the use of automated vehicles (“AVs”) on roads and other public places in Great Britain. The Bill referenced in this piece received Royal Assent and became The Automated Vehicles Act 2024.
