The team at Total Rockbreaking Solutions (TRS) in Western Australia has been working on a solution for mining and quarrying operators. The TRS BoomSafe® boom control system has been programmed to work with the Steelwrist fully automatic quick couplers. Operators can now keep crushing plants running seamlessly with BoomSafe®'s automated attachment changeover feature. The BoomSafe® system is designed to work in perfect synchronisation with Steelwrist quick couplers, which comply with the Open-S industry standard for fully automatic quick couplers. Benefits of BoomSafe and Steelwrist integration:  📍Automated switching: Attachments can be changed quickly, keeping production running smoothly. 📍Increased safety: Eliminates the need for manual intervention, reducing the risk of injury. 📍Improved efficiency: No need to manually close valves or purge for trapped gases, saving valuable time. This integration ensures a fully automated attachment change, preventing the need for manual steps like disconnecting hydraulic hoses, unlocking pins, or bleeding the system. The result is faster, safer transitions between attachments, minimizing leakages and pressure drops. TRS is an authorized Steelwrist dealer that provides a range of specialist hydraulic attachments for the mining, construction, civil works, and recycling industries. Wrapping up September with a quick look at our month of fairs and exhibitions. In September, we attended Matexpo Demo Days in Belgium, GaLaBau in Germany and Salonvert in France. At SalonVert, we proudly showcased our new XR7 Rotor Coupler in a public demo for the first time. A standout feature of this rotor coupler is its ease of installation as no additional control system is required. At GaLaBau, Steelwrist was represented at two locations. Our demo area attracted a lot of interest, and we’d like to thank everyone who stopped by to chat with us. We also took part in two Swedish events: Entreprenad Live and Demcon, where we shared our passion for the demolition industry. Finally, we’re proud to have been nominated as this year’s newcomer by Karriärföretagen, (Swedish Career Companies). Curious about what it’s like to work at Steelwrist? Visit our page here: https://lnkd.in/dbB3kinH Thank you all for making September such a memorable month. We look forward to connecting with you at future events!

Sometimes, the scenery is what makes the job worth it 🏞️ Imagine taking a break with a view over the Swiss Alps. A person who managed to capture a scenic workplace like this, is Ashley Hine. The job must have been worth it upon reaching the top. We are always happy to see pictures of the Steelwrist tiltrotator, and it’s especially nice when it’s with a stunning background.

A few months ago I was out in the Swiss Alps with Allemann and Hyundai construction, demonstrating where their machines could go and what they could do! The job here was reinforcing a footpath across the side of one of the trails in the foothills of the mountains that lead up to the winter ski slopes. The machine was rigged up with a Steelwrist tilt rotator making light work of the tight working conditions. Safe to say this is the most picturesque site I’ve ever visited, even if the drive up there was the singke most terrifying drive of my life… #hyundai #constructionmedia #construction

Are you curious to see a tiltrotator in action at a construction site? Then check out this video from a high-rise building site in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, to see how a Steelwrist tiltrotator on a 14-ton Volvo excavator expedites foundation construction. As you can see, the tiltrotator provides exceptional accuracy for earthwork tasks. Meticulous work like digging around foundation piers becomes much easier and more precise with a bucket that tilts 45º and rotates 360º. It also eliminates the need to reposition the excavator, reducing ground disruptions, fuel consumption and saving valuable time. Repetitive tasks can also be streamlined while maintaining high quality. At the Pyeongtaek site, using a tiltrotator ensured that thousands of footing holes were perfectly uniform, as if stamped into the soil! The end result was a highly accurate, built-to-spec foundation constructed at a fraction of usual time and cost. In addition to digging, the tiltrotor also lets the excavator easily handle tasks like smoothing, compacting, cleanup, material handling and transporting small equipment, thus eliminating the need for multiple machines, boosting efficiency and enhancing safety. Want to use a tiltrotator in your next project? Xpanner is here to help – just get in touch! #ConTech #Constructiontechnology #Xpanner #Steelwrist #Tiltrotator #Earthmoving #Excavator #Constructionsite

Women in Construction: A Growing Movement Around the world, women are making strides in an industry traditionally dominated by men—construction. Donna LaFata from A&D Equipment Inc, one of our longest-standing partners in North America, has been in the field for 20 years and talks about the importance of connections among women: “In an industry primarily run by men, we’ve learned how to handle our day-to-day operations. But when you come across women in the field, those connections become incredibly valuable. I hold onto them, and they’ve become essential relationships for me.” At Steelwrist, we believe it’s important to highlight initiatives and communities that contribute to continued development of the industry. Women-focused initiatives are on the rise, with groups like the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and events like the New England Women in Construction Conference, creating spaces for women to connect and grow. “When we developed this event in early 2023, our goal was to bring top-tier speakers and panelists to address issues impacting women in construction. We wanted to create a day focused solely on celebrating the incredible women in building and the trades. By investing in professional speakers and fostering a positive environment, we aim to help women connect, learn, and grow.” - Barbara Dimauro from Audience Development Strategies, LLC, organizers of the New England Women in Construction conference. As Donna looks forward to attending the conference, she’s optimistic about the growing support: “Last year’s event drew 50 people, and I’m sure this year will be even bigger. I think it might be double the size of last year’s event.” Similar movements can be found worldwide, empowering women in their respective regions. #womeninconstruction
