Yesterday, our incredible DDP cohort came together for the first time, and we were absolutely blown away by the talent in the room. It was a real privilege to hear everyone's stories throughout the morning—so much passion, insight, and experience shared! A massive thank you to our wonderful supporters and hosts, Taylor Wessing UK (shoutout to Oli Denne & Nadege Serna) for not only putting on an epic spread but also for making the session on Governance and Board responsibility genuinely engaging. Who knew governance could be this interesting? 😉 All this was followed by some informal drinks with a guest appearance from DDP Alumni Wills Hughes-Wilson who shared her story of becoming a NED generously.  We’re already buzzing for Day 2!

After submitting our vision for key design areas within our novel tumour measuring tool, Innovate UK facilitated matchmaking with the world-leading National Physical Laboratory (NPL). Using their deep expertise, we will work together to optimize the optical configuration of this next generation tool, helping to bring fast, precise, and more accurate tools to pre-clinical cancer researchers worldwide. 👏 A huge congratulations to the R&D team led by Mike IRVINE and a big thank you to Innovate UK for their continued support.
