Join Our Prestigious Team as a Production Welder in Rosyth, Dunfermline
We are thrilled to represent our esteemed client based in Rosyth, Dunfermline, a renowned name in the field of heavy engineering and marine defense. Our client is in search of a skilled Production Welder to join their dynamic team on a permanent contract-to-perm basis.
We are seeking a Production Welder who possesses the following essential experiences and qualifications:
Arc Air Gouging, Grinding, and Burning: Proficiency in these welding techniques is a must.
Tooling Maintenance: Prior experience with tooling maintenance technical instructions.
Welding Procedures: Previous work experience in accordance with welding procedures and acceptance standards.
Industry Advantage: While not mandatory, working within the heavy engineering/marine defense industry would be advantageous.
Welding Knowledge: Basic visual inspection and control of welding consumables, understanding of weld defects and their causes.
Safety: Utilizing work-to-risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and safe systems of work.
Welding Processes: Demonstrated experience in SMAW, GSFCAW, GTAW, and SAW welding processes.
Versatility: Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Testing: Willingness to successfully pass a welder test regime as part of the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a recognized welding Apprenticeship to N/SVQ Level 3 as a minimum. Additionally, the successful candidate must be eligible to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
Compensation:
Our competitive pay rates reflect the value we place on your skills and dedication:
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday – £17.12 per hour
Overtime on Friday and Saturday – £25.68 per hour
Afternoons: Monday to Thursday – £22.26 per hour
Overtime on Friday and Saturday – £30.82 per hour
Nights: Monday to Thursday – £25.17 per hour
Overtime on Friday and Saturday – £33.73 per hour
Additionally, if your daily commute exceeds 39 miles, you’ll receive a travel allowance of £45 per day.
