🔍Where to? Full Co-production! In January 2024, we launched our ambitious plan to become a truly co-produced charity. On Tuesday, we started on the second leg of the journey, with our first cohort in our Champion training. St Anne’s Champions will be leaders in specialist areas, equitably shaping our delivery, voice and influence by helping to create content, support with networking and partnerships, or planning and facilitating events and activities. On our recent destination list… 🔍Central co-production SEVEN content and agendas for every service 🔍Agreed place on the Board for a Resident Trustee 🔍Committed Board member attending SEVEN* by client invite (*St Anne’s Expert Voices and Experiences Network). 🔍Capturing and measuring co-production and actioning feedback This is a long journey, with many routes and destinations! St Anne's Community Services is committed to making co-production core to the way we deliver support, and central to the way we do business. Join us as we make our way there, dealing with the challenges, and celebrating the successes on route. #coproduction #engagement #socialcare #charity #Leeds #NorthofEngland #thirdsector #personcentred #support #community

🌟 Celebrating Recovery Month with Alcohol Services, Leeds 🌟 Every September, we take the opportunity to honour the incredible achievements of those overcoming substance use challenges during Recovery Month. We are proud to share the success of 7 clients completing our residential rehab programme, who all received their certificates, surrounded by family and friends. Their personal stories moved us all. As Ollie said, “The strongest glue that’s kept me held together… is the connection and the community.” Mhari beautifully described her journey: "We arrive splintered, shattered, and fragmented. We leave here continuing to put the pieces back together... starting to sparkle and shine again." To add to the inspiration, our clients also created Recovery-themed artwork now displayed on the walls at Alcohol Services, with Mark even enrolling in an art course! While September is a highlight, our celebration of recovery continues year-round as we applaud each milestone and achievement. 💜 Let's keep celebrating recovery, every day! 💜 More https://lnkd.in/g9nMMNUc #RecoveryMonth #LeedsRecovery #TogetherWeRecover #CelebratingSuccess #Leeds #Rehab #Charity #Care #Support

Wai Lin from our Kendal Lane Service enjoyed an evening out at the circus last night, it was the first circus he had ever been to. He really enjoyed the different acts and performers, laughed at the clown but his favourite was the Grand Finale of the motorbikes in the cage. Wai Lin said it was amazing how they fit five bikes into the cage and looked amazing with the neon lights. Well done to the team for supporting Wai Lin achieving this fantastic dream. #leeds #circus #care #support #charity CIRCUS ZYAIR LIMITED #socialcare

Our Bevin Court Hostel #Sheffield hosted a football tournament last week for all the clients, it was an amazing event. The weather was good but the camaraderie from all who took part was better. The clients really loved it, they said: "It’s great”. “Do more sports days”. "You have done an amazing job”. The opportunity to play games and relax really supports recovery and wellbeing. Well done to the whole team at Bevin for putting on the event #team #football #care #charity #support

We are so proud of our team at Alexandra House #Sunderland who have received a Star Award from Sunderland Healthwatch. The team received the award following a nomination from the parents of one of the residents. They stated they wished to make the nomination for the outstanding care their son receives, who in their opinion has the best time living there. They said: "All of Karen's staff are like her constantly caring and kind and the go above and beyond. They show love, respect and are always professional. They ensure the client always comes first". Fantastic work by all the team, really delivering on our PROUD Values. We are hugely proud of Charlotte in our Governance Team, who has not only embraced the Governance apprenticeship, but also undertaken this fantastic article. We love to see our colleagues develop and grow. #team #colleague #colleaguestar #Leeds
I am thrilled to share the incredible journey of my colleague, Charlotte Woollven, who recently achieved a remarkable milestone! Charlotte is not on LinkedIn, but has embraced an #apprenticeship in #governance, despite initial doubts about her abilities after years without formal training. However, her dedication and hard work shone through as she tackled assignments with determination and excellence. Recently, Charlotte's perseverance and talent caught the attention of #GovernanceCompliance magazine, published by The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. Despite her introverted nature, Charlotte agreed to be interviewed, resulting in a captivating feature in the magazine and on their website. This inspiring accomplishment truly showcases Charlotte's unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth. A massive congratulations to Charlotte Woollven from St Anne's Community Services for proving that continuous learning knows no bounds. I am confident that Charlotte will continue to excel and inspire others with her journey. Read Charlotte's insightful interview here: https://lnkd.in/enxZ4wSK

Person centred care is about working with our clients to undertake the things they enjoy and want to do. Richard, from our Portland Avenue Service #seaham loves Emmerdale ITV. With our support and planning we arranged for Richard to visit the set, wander around the village and stay the night in a cosy hotel (supported by George, support worker). Richard had a fantastic time. We love the photos #care #support #charity #socialcare #thirdsector #personcentredcare

🍰🎉 Josh from our Hartwell Road Service #leeds had a great time baking this cheesecake! From crushing the shortbread for the base to weighing all the ingredients, he poured his heart into it. And guess what? It was absolutely delicious! Undertaking baking is a great way to support mental health, as well as developing essential life skills which is great for confidence😋👌 #baking #cheesecake #mentalhealth #SocialCare #charity
