🏟️ **𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀!** 🏟️ We are proud to have recently assisted Tottenham Hotspur in their stadium transition to artificial turf. Sports Labs role within the project is to ensure the surface meets the Stadiums own and NFL's stringent safety and performance standards! 🌟 The removal pitch is a one-of-a-kind system in the UK and is unveiled when the retractable grass pitch is moved beneath the Stadium South stand. Following this, an entire pre-infilled field is installed. The system is designed specifically for NFL games, guaranteeing a familiar surface for the athletes. Our quality control process included a rigorous testing program for traction, shock absorption, consistency and evenness. Sports Labs is incredibly proud to be involved in this project to transform the Renfrew facility to include a Cruyff Court, which has just landed funding from the Renfrewshire Council. This project is especially close to the heart for our Consultancy Manager, David Dickinson, as a professional referee, his first game was out on that pitch next to where the Cruyff Court will be. As David states in the article, "We carry out this role across the UK and Ireland but when this one came along, I offered our support in-kind just to help them on this journey." 🇷🇸 ⚽️ I was lucky to spend the week carrying out performance testing and sign-off assessments of multiple hybrid and artificial surfaces across Serbia, in conjunction with Sports Labs ProPitch Ltd have been involved in the project from it's early stages, having previously carried out key stage inspections of works and assisted with specifications of works. A great investment by the football association has seen pitch standards increase dramatically, aiming to provide safe surfaces that can aid player performance.
